Completed: September 2025 Serves: A community of 395 adults, plus a school with an enrollment of 541 students Let me share with you one of the most difficult challenges we have been facing with water. … One day, on one of the sunny days, the teachers told our class that it was our turn to fetch water. Do you know what we found? THE MUDDY POND HAD DRIED UP, AND THERE WAS NO WATER!!!! That day, all of us in the school never had our lunch since we failed to take water back to school. Because we could not study in the afternoon due to hunger, the head teacher decided to close the school early that day and told all of us to go back home. The following day, we had to fetch water twice the journey because that is where the teachers had identified a creek. We fetched water from that creek for almost two months until the next rainy season when all ponds started filling up again. But the journey was very long!!!! So now, with this borehole near our school, it will never dry up. We shall never fetch dirty water. We shall never walk long distances. … Please convey our sincere thanks to our good donors. Tell them we are very grateful, and we pray that God blesses them 100 times. — John Paul, Primary 7 Class A summary of what the children are singing:
We are so happy to have good people who can help the needy people. We are so thankful for this water source. It comes from people who have big hearts. Comments are closed.
