Completed: September 2025
Serves: A community of 411 adults, plus a school with an enrollment of 631 students I hated going to school, especially on days I knew it was my class’s turn to fetch water for the school meals. The distance where we fetched water was very long from our school. Also, the water was very dirty because of the cows and sheep that stepped in it every day to drink the same water we people also used. And the moment you could find those animals already in the pond, you could wait for hours until they finish drinking and leave. This implied missing lessons almost all the day. We therefore thank you, dear donors, for this borehole because we shall never share this water source with those animals. This water source will always remain for human beings only and therefore clean and safe for us to use. Even, I promise not to hate school anymore as I have been before, because you have removed the problem that was making me dodge school some of the days. Thank you very much; we are so grateful. — Simon Peter, Primary 6 Class Comments are closed.
